ACE 350

I have been using my ACE 350 for several months. I am pleased with the results, but have one issue.

When I am in the coin mode, I often pick up iron, e.g., small nuts and bolts. I tried notching out all but the three upper bars (should detect silver only) and still pick up iron. I have tried to lower the sensitivity, to no avail. When I do air testing everything works as it's supposed to, but in soil -- no good.

Any suggestions?

If the iron is rusty, it will hit as a good target in the ground. Nothing you can do about it, just the nature of the beast.

You picked a nice machine.
I upgraded from the Ace 250 to the 350. The best
thing I ever did. Would love to get the AT Pro or Gold
but just can't afford it!
Good luck with your hunting.

Practise me bouy.....become one withthe machine. Try watching the Youtube vids that are specific to your machine. Look forward to your next post!

When you have a slightly jumpy signal, dig the plug and redo the swaying. Chances are the signal gets better and more stable.
I still wish all those rifle cartridges would be made of iron... There are tonnes of them out here...
They also send out two different signals, one for the long brass side without a quiet coin tone, and the circular base that hits like a coin tone 100%...

Something I have noticed with both the 250 and 350
is that sometimes you won't get a beep but you will
see the ID jumping around. When that happens try
the pinpoint and see if you can't stablize it, Pinpoint
and dig. You might be surprised.

That's the gold dust mode. You can use the pinpointer while searching for gold rich quartz.
The ACE won't beep, but it will sound strong when pinpointing.
