Ace 350

I have a Garrett Ace 350 and this is not a beach detector. I have had my 350 on several beaches. The detector will do fine in dry sand but is not designed for beach work with hot rocks and black sand. Pulse Induction metal detectors are built for beach and surf in mind, but many have taken them on dry land because of their ability to find gold. The Ace 350 is a great park, ball field and tot lot detector. It loves the penny with this being the most bell like tone. Dimes and quarters are clear and pretty stable in I.D foil will often give off a false signal in depth telling you your item is six inches down when it is actually foil two inches down. In one and a half years detecting with the ace I only found one gold ring. Plenty of silver has been found and probably Three hundred in clad

The 350 is a great detector but not for beach hunting, unless its a fresh water beach
then THEN it can be iffy. I am owhere NEAR the ocean so my 350 serves me
very well.
