Ace 350 w/ 8.5 x 11 coil. How is depth...........

How does the lil Ace 350 with the 8.5x11 DD coil do for depth.

I have pulled a 1966 OZ 1 cent piece out from under 8" of compressed pine mulch and 4" of wet bedding sand at a local tot-lot, seeing the 1c coin has been out of circulation for the last 21 years it must have been dropped many years ago and it's a small target.

The coin was lying flat on the natural surface, so it could have come in with the bedding sand, but that's dredged from north of Brisbane in an area that sees very little human traffic, curious little find.

Depending on the soil type, size of target and moisture content of the soil, with a fresh set of batteries you should get 10-12" depth from your ACE 350!

The Ace 350 has great depth. I traded my Ace 250 in for the 350 last year.
The best decision I ever made...next to getting devorced. Now I got more time
to detect.

I dug a wagon wheel axle band at 14" it sounded like it was on the surface, I was stunned to say the least!
