ACE 350...Impressive!

So I am without a detector at the moment, I am waiting for my new one to be shipped. Hopefully it will be here for next weekend, but I just couldn't wait, so I asked my buddy if I could borrow his for a few days. He had to work anyway, so I wasn't putting him out. He has an ACE 350, which I recommended to him about a year ago. I hadn't actually ever used a 350, but did use other Garrett machines. I took it out this morning and hit a couple of my hot spots. I found alot of junk, and a couple of coins in one spot, then I packed up and headed to another. There is a spot where I have found rings before, and I thought what the heck, I will give her a shot. My first good signal was a 14k white gold ring at 6 to 7 inches, with a nice solid signal. I was very excited, but kept hunting. The very next signal not 3 feet away was a triple ring in 925 silver again at 6 to 7 inches. Oh what a day! I have to admit, I wasn't sure how good the ACE 350 was going to be, but I was pleasantly surprised at the depth it gave me. Great machine! I looked up the "B" in 14KB and apparently it is a country of origin stamp, I guess B means Mexico. Not sure that's right, but doesn't really matter to me.

Andrew the silver rings hit right around the quarter notch, bell tone, and the gold ring hit just above the nickel tab, in fact I thought it might be a pull tab. I was in dry sand without much mineralization so I was running 3 notches down from full sens.

Wow that's great. I've decided to start runnin my sensitivity on the dd coil at about 4 or 5. Looks like that what u did. To eratic for me at full sensitivity. I use thw sniper coil a lot on the 350...its awesome too
