Ace 350 capabilities

Hi, I have had several metal detectors over the past 5-6 years along the likes of the Minelab exterras, a few mid range Whites and the Garrett GTP 1350 of which all have been sold. I live in northern Illinois and even though we are able to hunt the state and county parks not much is found. I would like to get back into metal detecting but not on the $550-650 price range, but moreso in the price range of the Ace 350. Is this unit too barebones to really offer anything exciting. It a:rolleyes:ctually looks like a pretty good detector with the new DD coil. Thanks, Dave

Dave, I have owned every detector you have named plus many fishers and Tesoro, The Ace 350 is not bare-bones and is very exciting to me, If you liked that GTP 1350 I think you will love the Ace 350 once you get to know it and get comfortable with it. I also sold My 1350, It was one of the best detectors I ever had, But it was a little heavy side and because of my legs I couldn't hunt with it very long.

Dave I received my 350 Friday........Found coins right away.....Then did some diggin and head scratchin.......I'm new to the hobby..........Been out about 6 times and finally getting a little used to it..DD Is very capable..Was out in the snow last night at a playground and did well on change..I recommend it and if you purchase you can't beat Kellyco.....Ask for Bill.....Good luck my friend!!!!!!........Dave

There ain't nothing barebones about the 350. It'll find anything you want to dig. Look at the record of the 250 and the 350 is a "souped up" version of the 250. It will hold its own with anything out there.
