Ok....Tired of diggin pull-tabs....no gold..How many pull-tabs do you need to dig before it is gold and not a pull tab?..Head scratch?......Oh and bottle caps........I have the sniper coil but what other coils are compatible with the 350.......I want to try something other than the DD.....Thanks Dave

I hear ya loud and clear.....Im gonna try a couple techniques people told me to try on here the next time out.
Ive been hunting in the wet with the DD coil.....I was told to turn the sensitivity way down in wet weather with the DD coil.....plus a couple ways to distinguish alum cans etc.....yeah its driving me nuts too...I miss my 250 to be honest : )

Here are your options:

The larger coils cover a greater area faster. The small coils work better amongst trashy areas to find good targets amongst the trash. The DD coils get better depth in higher mineralized soil. You might also want to try a different location for rings.

Long live the Ace 250 :))

Happy Hunting

Garrett Ace 250
Stock coil
Sniper coil
Excelerator 10 x 14 DD

Minelab Xterra 305
Stock coil

Any of the coils that will fit the 150 or 250 will also work with the 350. (Info straight from Garrett) If you are wanting to avoid the bottlecap plague, avoid any of the DD style coils. I haven't tried one of the SEF butterfly coils yet though, and am interested to see how they work with the Ace.

Thanks John and everyone else...I did look but wasn't aware of the two sizes of concentrics that are available and compatible..........Dave

I dont seem to have that problem with the DD coil. Ive dug a few but no more than my other detectors.
