Ace 350 and Ace 250. For those of you who have used both....

do you feel the coil makes the 350 better than the 250 for finding coins in trash or iron?

I apologize if this question has been asked a zillion times here already...but I have used a 250...but not a 350. I am considering the 350 for my girlfriend's daughter.

I have 2 Minelab Explorers and an E-Trac...as well as a Fisher cz-21...and I could go on:bouncy: but she has been using my Whites XLT and can't swing it very long. She is only 11...and my girlfriend has been using the XLT some too because my Explorers are too heavy for her. Well...you get the confusing picture.

They both like the xlt because if it says 75 or higher on the digital screen...9 out of 10 times it's a coin.
They just like the excitement of clad hunting...and don't want to "waste" their time bending down to dig crap...OR get their nails dirty for nothing:cool:

I was just wondering how accurate you all thought the ID on the 250 is as compared to the 350. In other words would either of my ladies benefit in the ways I described by getting the 350 over the 250?...and does the 350 coil make a noticable difference?

The 350 is hotter than the 250 and the DD coil is easier to pinpoint with once you understand how a DD works. Getting a Sniper coil for either one would make it real easy for a youngster and even you might become addicted to it. HA..And the Sniper is a real piece of cake to pinpoint with and you can hunt close to metal with it - like playground equipment.. This one single procedure is what frustrates youngsters and drives them away as they expect to find goodies and find them fast and easy. Plus if you decided to sell it the 350 would be easier to sell and bring more.

You buy the Ace 250 and then go to Kellyco for there Excelerator 10 x 14 DD coil, and
you'll be happier then a rabbit in a clover patch.

Happy Hunting
