Ace 250

Hi everyone!!! Just joined today... Been reding the forum for a few months now. I live in New Jersey. I hunt the local parks with my Garrett Ace 250. I do good with it finding coins. I find sometimes over $20.00 a day with it!!!
I am an African/American female living in Trenton, NJ. If there is anyone that lives in the area and would like to hunt the local parks and share experience with me I would like that!!!!
Please do not think I am trying to be a favorite spot stealer, just want to meet people who like metal detectors in my area!!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like you are on fire with the Ace. $20+ on an outing in the US is just amazing!
Good luck with finding a hunting buddy. If I lived near you, I'd love to go out and hunt with you, apart from the company just to learn from you. it sure is more fun when you get to share the hunt with somebody. I've only been able to do that a couple of times, and enjoyed it.

Hi LaKeisha! I'm a newbie to this forum too but still waiting for UPS to drop my Garrett Ace 250 off on my door step. It should be here on Thursday and I am so psyched. Good luck finding a detecting buddy....in my neck of the wood no one is ever seen using a metal detector....the field is wide open!

Hi Lakeisha: Finding 20 bucks a day is pretty good in my books. The 250 is a great detector, I have been at it for over 30 years and find the 250 one of the better machines that I have used. Unfortunately I am living in the wrong Trenton as I am in Trenton Ont Canada. Its great to see you in the hobby all the best to you. HH Ken

LaKeisha[/quote]Welcome to the forum. $20? Wow, that is great. I don't get the large numbers so much because I try yo hunt where I have a chance of finding old coins. I'd hunt with you but it is a 3000 mile drive form Cali. good luck and post pics when you can.

I am not too far from you, in Cherry Hill, NJ. I have hunted in your area and it is a GREAT place to detect. Needless to say, Trenton is rich with history. It was a turning point in the American Revolution. I used to work in Lawrenceville so I was in the area often, but I would love to get back there to MD. My last hunt there produced many 18th and 19th century artifacts including silver spoons.

There are certain areas that I know would make good spots in the city, but I would have been out of place if I was alone. I think we may be able to help each other!

Check out my website and you can see some of the finds, although I don't think I have added any from my last trip to Trenton yet. All of the finds on the site were found within an hours drive from Trenton.
