Ace 250

Got my Ace 250 ordered today. Now if only I can figure it out to use with only one hand and a wheelcair.

Mike

Maybe you could mount something like a bolt on or friction mounted pivot point(ball type)on the wheel chair arm, then on the 250, have a specially made longer shaft with the ball capture mounted to it.
I would check with your wheel chair dealer as they are good with coming up with modifications and solutions. Just an idea. I just received my Ace 250 also, but will be unable to use it until late March or April due to a severe leg injury and upcoming skin graft.

Remember, where's there's a will, there's a way.
Take care my friend.

The biggest thing I am having trouble with right now is trying to get something so I can carry pinpointer, digger and stuff on the wheelchair, I have a few ideas but have not got very far. There is a thing for hanging up 4 or 5 brooms on the wall and I was thinking how to mount it on the wheelchair. Still looking for something to attach it. I also have an idea so I can lay the detector on the ground while digging and be able to pick it up again. Have to have the machine first.

Don't know if it's within your budget or not but years ago I bumped into a disabled detectorist who used an electric go-kart to detect from. He had a basket mounted on it to carry all his tools and a little rack to hang the detector on. He had modified the detector by shortening the shaft so he could detect from the side of the kart as he moved along. He done quite well.
