I keep seeing a lot of threads about the ace 250. I was just woundering,is this detector really good or is it a toy!?

Take a look at the ace250 forum on Yahoo and I think you will be impressed. I have been doing a lot of looking and plan to buy one in the not too distant future. Also, do a search on ace 250 in this forum.

Shing,
No doubt about it, the Ace 250 is one fine detector, let alone the fact the you can get it delivered to your door for $200. It is light weight, very easy to use, runs on 4 AA bats, and has 3 tone audio ID with pushbutton pinpoint, to mention some of the features. If you want a good little coin hunter, go for the Yeller Feller. I have two other detectors and they are both good ones, but the 250 is too. I do admit that I have seen some posts indicating pinpointing difficulty, for some. This was the case for me too, until I learned the machine better. :super:Lar

Yep a real coin hunting toy.

The type that coin shooters like to play with, bull shooters love to talk about, and no doubt you will find enough in the first year to pay for it. So, getter done!

Lake Greeson, Arkansas: $2.96 cents in clad, two earrings (one solid silver), four rings (three junk and one keeper) one being a woman's 10 K class yellow gold ring crowned with two nice-sized diamonds on either side of a beautiful topaz. A 1991 model. (It registered as a nickle so dig the tabs. As you clean the beach, you might even find something neat!)

I know the lady will love getting it back! Ahhhh. Nothing like having a favoite "toy" that can brings so much pleasure and satisfaction. Think about it: if one is any kind of a detectorist, the Ace 250 can be paid for VERY quickly. I LIKE those kinds of toys. Thanks Uncle Charley! <><

Have a great day.
