Got the 250 yesterday. Can't wait to take it out this afternoon. What a fantastic looking machine for the money. I reckon Garrett has a real winner here. I will post my first finds, and let you know how it performs 'down under' here in OZ.

I found 3 pennies, 2 half pennies, 3 six pence, 5 three pence and $3 in current decimal coinage. The bell tone on this machine goes off like a fire cracker when it finds a coin. The pin pointing is spot on, and I did'nt dig any trash. My 8 year old son also found 1 penny, 2 half pennies and a 1910 three pence with it. He was absolutely beside himself. I didn't think I would say this, but this machine is on par with my GTAX 1000 (I still won't sell it though, it is also a great machine). I will keep you guys and girls posted on my son and my finds here in Australia. (I might have to order another one of these babies for my son, as I think he now has the bug bad).

Yeah keep us posted for sure, and I think your son deserves one. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
