Ace 250 wireless headphones

Hi Folks,

A google search on wireless headphones for metal detectors will turn up countless threads on numerous sites.
However, some swear by a particular set up where as others swear at it. LOL! Not a great deal of consistency
in the reports.

There was a Radio Shack model which was purported to work very well on the Ace 250 as well as a number of
other detectors. It has unfortunatly been discontinued.

Then I found several that swore by Walmarts Sentry H0900 wireless headphones @ $19.98 working well with the
Ace 250 as well as a number of other models. It was purported to not experience lag problems or interference
issues and holding up to multiple years of usage. Have any of you fine folks had any experience with the Sentry
H0900 wireless headphones on an Ace 250?

I'm hating the light weight earphones that came with my Ace. (They are not made by Garrett). I either wish to
replace them with Garrett models with a heavier/coiled wire, or better yet, replace them with a wireless model.
I'd be most appreciative of any info, pro or con. Warm regards, Jim

I was never able to get a tone with
the Sentry from Walmart of my ACE250

and i wasnt real impressed with them
on my GTI either ..
I use the Garetts and they work just fine..

altho the wireless feature is nice Ill stick with
the Garretts

I had the same experience as Ron.
Almost no sound would come through the headphones using the Wal-mart/Ace combination.

Same here, the Wal*Mart model did not work well at all with my 1350.:garrett:
