What Would John(Edmonton)Do that is..
It's late Monday evening. I need help making up my mind. I'm ready to take my relationship with my Ace250 to the next step. Should I go with the mega-large 9X12 coil and get those missed deep mercury dimes. Or should I get the smaller Sniper coil and grab all those missed goodies hiding next to the trash?
What do you think?

I have them both and really like them both.... BUT, if I only could get one - it'd be the sniper coil - it's unreal in trash!

Hope that helps

I would get the smaller coil, get out and dig as much (missed)clad as possible, save it and then buy the large coil. You could also try and sell the stock coil to subsidise the large coil. I was really amazed at how many coins were actually left behind when I started using the sniper coil.

If you can only get one go with the sniper. It is hot on dimes and goes deep enough to get most of them. You aren't limited to hunting trashy areas with the sniper. I hunt ball fields with it. I'm going to do a tutorial here on the forum on coils and I'll tell you how to get maximum performance from the sniper.
