Ace 250 upgrade

My question is:

What do ace users commonly upgrade to?
Please reply, and give me tips on what a good idea may be to upgrade on!

I started with an Ace 250. It paid for itself, a propointer, a sniper coil and a 10 x 14 Accelerator coil within two years. It also paid %75 of the cost of a new AT pro that I got myself for Christmas last year. The At Pro has paid itself off at least three times over this year. :super: I would start your upgrade with a propointer if you don't have one yet or an accelerator coil for large areas. (sports fields). Good luck.

one mans opinion

Kept the 250 and added the at pro it's great especially in the pro mode, and its a water machine also..

It really depends on what kind of hunting you do. I have the At Pro and am using the 9X12 concentric coil and the wife uses the Ace 250 also with the 9X12 coil. For the kind of hunting we do either set up seems to be about as effective since our totals for each day are very close. Often within pennies.

I am partial to the At Pro for many reasons, namely Pro Mode, Iron Audio, Digital ID meter, three tones, ground balance, etc, etc, etc. However the bottom line is that in many situations the Ace 250 with the same coil setup will find as much as the At Pro.

Is the At Pro and upgrade from the Ace 250? Definitely! However the point of this post was to point out that the Ace 250 should never be underestimated.
