Ace 250 took a gulp of Sea Water + Sand

Finding coins being exposed by some pretty wild wave action at a newly formed cut along the beach. Tempation being what it is I jumped down and started to scoop em up. Well until one of those freek waves came in behind me, slamed the spooned out high wall, flew up and soaked me & the Ace a good one. Went straight back to the room, took it apart, rinsed everything with freash water. Laid everything on a newspaper by the window to dry. load of sand had to be rinced out also.
Nothing else to do so grabbed the AT Pro and went back. Im one lucky dude, worked fine after being put back together. PS I read somewhere not to use a hair dryer.

Glad you saved the ACE. I think the reason someone posted NOT to use a hair dryer was because too much heat could damage or change the values of some of it's components.

either way, you are back in the saddle.

Glad you saved the ace!

Usually NOT a good idea to take a land machine into the salt surf...
Glad it all worked out though...
