Ace 250 Stock Coil (6.5"x9" Concentric) vs. 8.5"x11" DD Air Test at Different Sensitivity Settings...

I decided to do a comparison between the stock coil and the 8.5x11 DD. The 'setting' is the sensitivity setting (1 to 8 bars). The 'actual depth' is the distance from the coil that I was able to get a positive coin tone. The 'depth indicator' is the depth that the Ace 250 says on the display.
Test Target:
1951 Roosevelt silver dime, flat

8.5x11 DD Coil
Setting : Actual depth, Depth indicator
1: 2", 2"- 4"
2: 3", 4"
3: 4.25", 4"- 6"
4: 5.5", 6"
5: 6.5", 6"
6: 7", 6"- 8"
7: 7.5", 8"
8: 8.5", 8"

6.5x9 Concentric Coil
Setting: Actual depth, Depth indicator
1: 1.75", 2"
2: 2.75", 4"
3: 4", 6"
4: 5.25", 6"
5: 6", 6"
6: 7", 6"
7: 7.25", 8"
8: 8", 8"

Looking at the sensitivity settings like this is helping me understand how the coils 'see' a coin. Hopefully it might help someone else as well.
I plan on testing and documenting my Super Sniper coil this weekend as well...
I still like the DD because it is easier to sift through trash and find coins next to iron, but was surprised by how close the two are depth-wise.
