Ace 250 Sniper vs GTAx 1250 Sniper...

I tested the Ace 250 with the 4.5 sniper coil vs the GTAx 1250 with 4.5 crossfire II coil today on my test dime.
Let me say first that i made some air tests first where the GTAx1250 combo got about an inch more depth.
But in ground performance showed that my Ace 250 combo detected the dime (4" in the ground)with the coil 2" over the ground.
Total 6". I tried had to get the same result with the GTAx 1250 combo but 5" was the best i could get out of it.
Both detectors were in All Metal Mode and sensitivity at max.
It is hard to believe but it is how it is.
Tomorrow i will do a real trash test with the Ace 250 combo around an old house.
I still can't believe how well this 199$ detector works.

That a 250 could spank a 1250 in ANY depth test.
BUT in all fairness to the 1250, I usually can't run my 250 at max gain, I usually run 4-5 bars. At normal, hunting settings it falls a little short of my 1000 PM (the closest thing to a 1250 that I own).
This is not to disparage the 250, I love mine and it bagged me my first Civil War relics in heavy iron trash, as well as a bucket full of coins over the few months I've owned it.

Yeah I finally got mine along with a lower stem. Going to test it on some nuggets to see what it does and then around some metal playground equipment.
