Ace 250/sniper tidbit..

Don' t know if I've mentioned this before but I was shocked and pleasantly surprised to find this out. As most already know, parks and similar places are now installing electronic devices that wreak havoc because of emi issues. Such was the case in a particular section of my favorite park. EVERY detector I owned (bounty hunter, whites, Tesoro- a including the normally stable Royal Sabre/5" coil) was almost unusable if not annoying. Enter the Ace 250/sniper combo. Not only stable at normal sensitivity but MAX! I don't know if it's the coil or internal frequency or what of the Ace. I'm fairly sure it's the coil as I had emi problems at another location before switching for good to the sniper. Any other users notice this? Thanks.

Sling, haven't had this problem. But, if this continues, watch for a big run on the Sniper coils.
Just had a similar problem on the beach. Using the Infinium with 8 & 14" mono coils. Had 7 hunts with no interference what so ever. Than machine went bonkers, couldn't hunt it anywhere except in the water. Switched to the 14" DD coil, machine ran quiet as ever. The DD was able to handle the mineralization, or some super emi problems the mono coils had.
