Yep, it's amazing to me how close to steel fences, re bar, & around trashy areas this thing can detect. It brings back places I thought I had dismantled. I'm finding more and more trinkets, so the good stuff is coming. I keep the Sniper on the Ace and use it after I'm finished with a place, than work the tight areas. This little baby will pay for itself in short order.
 
I had the sniper coil FOR A YEAR without ever using it (the stock coil always handled any problem I had so far) and was getting ready to sell it. Then I hit a really trashy park and HAD to put it on. Not only did it do it's job but I was finding stuff in the 6" - 7" range...didn't seem to lose much depth. Great coil...wouldn't be without one. Totally agree with you. It bailed me out in a "tough" situation.
