Ace 250 Question

I just came home from work and put my 250 together. After putting it together I found that the coil moves to free and swings up and down while searching. (Did a practice run outside.) Does everyone's do this? If so how do you make it not so lose?

Oh, my first find was an old pulltab, of course. But it was the best pulltab in the world.

I hate to ask, cuz I'm sure you did, but did you put the rubber grommets in? If so, it just needs a little tightening. Should move some, to adjust for different terrain, like on a slope, but not while you are swinging. If you want it in a fixed position, there is a little doo-hickey you can buy to lock it into place.

Yeah, but ummmmm... At first I had them in the wrong place.

I guess stuff like this happens when people like me don't read instructions.
