Ace 250 question

Hav'nt been here in awhile,that's another story.Wondering if an Ace 250 will detect Gold nuggets.Also what would be the best settings for this task.I can't afford to get another machine.Thanks and hey to all.
 
I would'nt say that it is neccessarily designed for gold nuggets, but you can certainly find them with it. If I were looking for them I would set my Ace in Jewelry Mode with sensetivity set as high as possible without falsing.
 
I would have to say a/m or relics mode-and with the sniper coil. A guy found several that was posted in the Garrett Searcher. Of course, they were of larger size than flakes.
 
It will detect larger nuggets but won't handle hot ground too well where most of the small nuggets one finds are found.
