Ace 250 pinpointing

OK when your'e holding the pp down, just where is the PP center at?? not in the center of the coil like many others?? or on the tip like some, ? where????? On my 150 it was purty tricky , just jiggled and used the toe/tip, but thinkin 250=huh/ where?????

Back off the target, press pinpoint, move back over the target, scan side to side until you center the target ( strongest signal ), then pull the coil straight back until the instant the signal stops. On shallow targets the target will be under the center front tip of the inside oval ( like pinpointing with a DD ). Deeper targets will be back an inch or so from that point.

If you have a problem turn 90 degrees to the target and repeat above procedure.
