Ace 250 or Bounty Hunter 3300

Ok All --

Here is a quick question. Which one should I buy? The Garrett Ace 250, or the Bounty Hunter 3300?
I am going to buy a new detector, and have it narrowed down to these two. Which one is the best

I've owned both and found that the 250 is more stable and true to it's ID. The 3300 is easier to read the screen being that it is bigger. They are both good machine in there price range. Nether are deep seeking machines, another machine you might want to conceder is the White's Prizm IV. You can find a good used one for around $100.00 more............but much more machine!!!!!

Just my opinion as an owner of the Ace 250 but I'd probably go with the Ace if I were you.
From what I have researched, the BH 3300 has a good solid history behind it. Its probably
about as deep as the Ace 250. You might consider the F2 which looks very much like the 3300
but has different electronics, I am told. It is more sensitive than the Ace or the BH3300. I think you can still
buy the F2 and get a free sniper coil with it. Not sure of that though.
BTW the F2 is $199 and the Ace is $212 while the BH3300 is $299.
Good luck

Hyay Mitto,

We need to know what kind of area you live in.

What kind of detecting do you want to do?

Both the 250 and the 3300 work for coins.

But for jewelry or relics, there are better
machines for the budget minded.

I hunt gold jewelry and relics/artifacts.

Neither of those machines will work for me.

Heck my $70 Speedy has found most my gold.

Here's about 1/2 the stuff I sent to the refinery
last time:

Either me or my detector, or maybe it's both,
can find little bitty gold nestled in iron.

I found this tiny broken 14k gold ear ring right
over the steel nut in this photo. It only weighs
one thenth of a gram. I was using my used
$300 Euro Sabre.

My detectors find coins even better than they
find gold. Great for relic hunting also.

My metal detectors handle trashy areas better
than the 250 or the 3300.

But, that's just my openion. Everbodies got one.

Happy Hunting,

Tabdog
