Ace 250 or Ace 350?

I have decided to back with a Garrett. I used to have an Ace 250 but traded it away. I don't have a detector now and I've been thinking about getting the Ace 350. Is it really any better than the 250? Does it go any deeper? Does it pick up, identify or discriminate any better? How does the DD coil on the 350 make it different than the 250's coil? etc... I want to find a little bit of everything from coins to jewelry and I'll be using it in NC and SC from the mountains to the beach. The AT Pro looks great but $600 would just get me beat up by my wife! Thanks for any help in deciding.
 
I have both 250 and the 350 and I can say the ace350 is pretty deep, it can get the deep coins and relics your looking for, the price isn't bad either it comes with a pouch, hand trowel and head phones,housing cover everything to get started treasure hunting! But the ace250 is a coin killer don't underestimate it ! HHH
 
I have an Ace 250. It works really good at getting coins, in the parks especially. I have never tried the Ace 350, but I have heard that it is a good machine too. I wouldn't mind getting rid of my 250 and getting a 350.
 
My self I would hang on to the ace250, and get the 350 both interchange on there coils so you can have them both! That's just me! HHH
