Ace 250 or ace 350?

upgrading from bounty hunter to ace model. Not sure if its worth saving a little more and getting the ace 350 over the 250. Is the 350 much better or offer anything unique? Thanks for any comments

This is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth, but it depends on what kind of hunting you do. If you do lots of relic hunting, I'd say go with the 350 because of it's iron capabilities. If you are mainly coinshooting or jewelry hunting, the 250 will match it all day long. I have had lots of people say that the 350 is deeper, but I have both, and in my experience, the coil is the only difference. For the difference in price, you can put a 10x14 excelerator DD coil or a 9x12 coil to go with the 250. I use both almost daily, and all coils made for the ace series will work with either.

thanks for the info. I mostly coin hunt for now. This is my first year out...love it! Should of done it years ago! Cool i think ill go with the 250 for now.

Thanks

I agree with Darren...I gave my 250 to a friend and ordered the 350. I do find more relics which I like...but the 250 is the way to go with the large coil.
