Ace 250 Operating freq kHz

Hi Guys i think i will buy a Ace 250 & use as a backup unit & maybe playgrounds.
What operating frequency has the Ace 250 been set at ?
My GTAX 1000 has been set at 7.2kHz or abouts,so this will give me a comparison to what depth it will detect.Ive owned a Minelab musketeer adv before & that was set at 5.6khz it could detect deep but not sensitive enough to small items & the disc was crap.
Has the Ace 250 got a DD Eliptical coil or round & are there others sizes being made to suit or is it a 1 off machine with factory standard coil.
Question for Peter in Aus what notch number does the $1 & $2 coins fall on the Ace 250 because it has a 12 notch scale? On the 24 notch scale the $2 locks on solid at (7) & the $1 at (7.5)
I went out for a quick dig yesterday morning in 3hrs managed to find 36 coins =$22.55
Catch ya later Freddy

Both one and two dollar coins show up a solid 8 (around the 1 cent range) on this machine. They let out one hell of a bell tone as well.
