Ace 250 Observations, and more Questions

I think my Ace may be working ok. Here is how it's acting.

1. It still have some falsing, I have the sensitivity turned down to 4 hash marks.

2. It's trash if the target seems to move when you turn and do a 90 degree on it.

3. or it's trash if the target seems to disapear after a few passes. Sounds good , sounds good not there any more. few seconds later it's back again, then gone.

4. My depth indicator doesn't seem to work vary well, if at all. I get reading from from 2-4 inches when the coin is on top of the ground or just under the grass at ground leval.

5. When I push my pin point mode button I see one depth reading, is that supposed to be a correct reading? The reason I ask is that it seems to differ from the reading on deepth when I'm not pusing the pinpoint button.

As I told another poster the depth of the grass figures into your depth reading and if you are scanning an inch off the ground add that in also.
