After work today I worked another bus stop. it was like a blanket of coins. They were everywhere. I was pretty well exausted after a couple of hours, so I went home.

Hi John another nice haul. I read your posts and you beat me almost everyday. When do you usually start in the spring? March April? I'm moving northward soon, not as far as you are , but further than I am now. I detect when it is 42 or warmer thats what 5 or 6 for you. You have some of the most interesting posts out there keep them coming. George from Colorado

Actually, I hunt all year. Spring summer & fall = beaches, water hunts, relic hunts & clad hunts. Winter = toboggan hills, ski hills and woods if not too much snow. I don't think that our weather is too much different then yours.

Really all year, that opens my eyes to many possibilities. I have a beach hunter AT3 for the water and have had good luck with it. You save your small change all year then buy a gold coin?

I save just the pennies for the gold coin. I go out of my way to hunt areas that are littered with pennies.....just my ACE 250 and a slot screwdriver. The ACE series pinpoint so well that I can get all the coins out quickly.

Hi John I have a Whites and a Minelab along with my Garretts. I do alot of penny popping also, alot on the ski slopes here but I guess we are moving to Wisconsin soon so new areas for me.
