Yeah= but had to explain to the inspector what it was=(dense inspector)=other than that ,, no problem

...and I can tell you that carrying on a metal detector control housing and coil will not be a problem. TSA Screening personnel see ALL types of electronics coming through their equipment everyday. Just think about all the portable DVD players, ipods, CD players, laptops, etc. that come through the checkpoints everyday. As long as they (TSA Screening personnel) can see through the electronics with their screening equipment, it isn't a problem.
