Hey guys just came back from Puerto Rico mostly for golf but took my AT Pro kept the electronics in my carry on . The rest in my Golf Bag. No problems. On the way back they checked out my Pro Pointer but once they saw what it was no problem either. So on the beach 4 or 5 times . no more than 2 hrs each. Nothing but clad, pull tabs, lots of bottle caps. some pieces of copper and aluminum. The AT Pro worked well in wet and dry sand. Tried to work in the water edge but the waves kept breaking and my headphones got wet. Was afraid of hurting the detector so not much of that. I was in Rin Con a native there told me a spanish reck was just 500 yds off beach and in the fall storms come up out of the south and take the sand off the Beach. He thought this would be the best time to hunt. Anyway I wanted to spend more time detecting but my 3 other buddys wanted to golf everyday. If I could swing it I would go back in the fall. I was very happy with the performance of my Pro. It was a great winter break, now its 24 degrees and 3" to 5" coming tomorrow. Hurry up spring !

I would rather have spent all day every day on the beach. But I was committed to play golf. Never thought I would be distracted from golf but I now have treasure fever even if its 16 degrees out with 6" of fresh snow.

I used to work those beaches with my AT4 machine. Not much luck, as the beaches in front of the hotels and condos were "groomed" every morning.
I finally got smart, and got up early to see where the groomers were dumping the stuff they had removed from the beach.

@#$!&! was scooping out the refuse into trash bags, which he put into the trunk of his car. I guess he had the same idea as me. I was only there for about 6 months, and had a real job as well, so never did find that honey hole that I know still waits for me.
