ACE 250 finds fur trade silver brooch

I chiseled this out of the frozen muck yesterday. The maker is Narcisse Roy out of Montreal, which infers the North West Company. Best guesses range from 1780-1820. I'll have a jeweler straighten it out as it's only bent.
 
That old fur trade brooch is a great find ..Congrats !
 
Yeah, I was going to ask if it could be straightened out.
