Ace-250.....Excellent!

My Christmas present to me arrived last Friday in the form of a Garrett Ace-250 metal detector. Using it Saturday, Sunday & tonight after work all I can say is this is one fine machine. I've been into TH-ing for a year this month. Started with a Bounty Hunter Lone Star. It was the right price and right detector for someone who had never hunted and was not sure if they would stick with the hobby. Needless to say, I got hooked.
Decided I wanted to upgrade, looked around and decided on the Ace-250. I gotta tell you all, I feel like I just purchased my first "real" metal detector and am no longer using just a toy. After reading a lot of messages on here from other owners of this machine, I see that I am not alone in my feelings.
I'm in Clearwater Florida and do beach detecting along with Florida ghost town hunting/exploring. I don't normally post here but with all the excellent reviews I've read, I just had to put my "2-cents" worth in also.
Best wishes & happy holidays to all and keep those messages coming. I learn something new everytime I check this site.
