ACE 250 constantly beeps when i switch it on

hello all

Today I came to the beach and found my ACE 250 constantly beeps when I switch it on..
target indicator constantly blinks in "bottle top"

any idea how to fix that?

I plan to call Garrett for their 2years warranty, but may be there is another way to fix it fast?

I guess you could try holding the on/off button in until it resets to factory settings. Or try another set of batteries. Could be that the coil is bad. If all else fails send it to Garrett. They will have it back to you in no time at all.

Like McDave says try the reset. Its fixed several problems 4 me.
Swap coils if you have another to eliminate that.

Where do you have your sensitivity set? Is this an ocean beach and are you hunting in wet salt sand?
