ACE 250 coil extension cable

If for any reason anyone wants to modify there 250. I have found a very good place to get the coil cable extension made. Any truck stop that has a CB radio store/repair shop.
I stopped by the local one in Ocala today and in 15 minutes the tech in the CB shop made my cable. Just tell them you want a five wire mike extension cable. The 5 pin plug for the mic.'s worked perfect and they have the connectors to place on both ends. Have tested it on my 250 and works perfect. Total cost plus labor was around $20.00

Now to make the small bracket to chest mount the head unit.
 
Bill, thinking about this morning. they can probably make any extension cable that would be needed as far as coils go. At least as long as they are 4 or 5 plug connector. Unless you take in the plug you need. Those folks are use to working with fine wires.
