Ace 250 and gold jewelry

I am having a blast with this metal detecting. New but i've found over 60 pennies, 6 dimes, 5 nickels, 2 quarters, ring, silver cross, and lots of pull tabs!

Curious, how does the ace respond to gold, say a necklace or diamond ring? What is the best mode to hunt in? And, one more--what's the difference in running the ace with 4-5 bars of sensitivity verses 8? Now, I know it will go deeper, but is it b/c of false alarms? thanks

Gold will range from foil To pull tab.
Go in Relic Mode. Dig repeatable targets that don't jump.
And sooner or later you will find the GOLD.

The Ace is hot on gold. if you run the sens to high you will know it as your detector becomes erratic and unstable and hits on every piece of metal in the ground plus the mineralization. If you're hunting for jewelry run in that mode.
