ACE 150.......question discrimination.

Hi!!
The ACE 150 in JEWERLY mode rings or gives a signal and after digging there isn't any sound or signal.
I want to know what is due to ???
And the cursor is on IRON position.

sometimes the leaching of metal into the ground around the target will produce a "halo" effect, imitating a solid coin signal, after you dig it the halo will be destroyed and it will read as a piece of iron just what it was..........all detectors do this..........
