Ace 150 is the best metal detector! - a mixed bag day

That got your attention didn't it?:D Well, with everyone talking about the 250's I thought I'd better be the one and only to keep the 150's alive. :D

Not many people at the beach today, being mid-week. Had planned to hunt the bulldozed sand near a river but on the way there I noticed they had also bulldozed around some trees and the coins just kept coming from there, so I couldn't see much point in moving while the going was good.
Met an Irish man looking for a gold watch he lost a couple of weeks back, said I'll contact him if I find it in the future.

As I was leaving I walked over the top part of the beach and picked up some old nails with my magnet, still thousands remaining!

Results:
1861 yen in coins (about US$17)
Three game machine tokens
Silver spoon (marked silver in Japanese, so no doubt made in Japan)
Probable silver pendant (next to the umbrella)
Two silver rings (one with I'm Crazy About You stamped on the outside)

Notice my scanner now produces a thin green line down one side. Don't use it much and no plans to get another at the moment, so we'll all just have to put up with that for a while.

Lots of $$$ there. Nice to see you are giving all of us a good reputation by picking up those rusty nails. Great post bud! :)

A virtually lovely cluster of nails Ian. HA. You done good again. Wish I could come visit you, that is after I visited John and got in on some of his glory holes.
