access error card is set to "read only"

i was just wondering if any one else has had this problem????? if so do you know how to fix it? when i go to take a pic the message i get on my lsd screen is access error card is set to read only. if you can help me that would be great. thank you jason
 
If so u might be able to access the card thru the program for the card reader and reformat the card. I get card errors on my SmartMedia cards & i have the Prep them using the card readers SM Prep feature-then all is fine.
Hope this helps some.
Also try Re/formatting the card with your camera.Chuck S.
