? About using alternate relic mode

New member
I started using the relic mode and Its works great. I would love to use the ARM but it seems like it's just the "all metal pinpoint" with depth readings. I have the mxt edge and it seems somethings not right. Some of your pro info would be nice and thanks.

Use the Relice mode with the trigger pushed FORWARD! iron give a low tone and good targets give hight tone. zero Disc.

Alternate relic mode is different with the MXT Pro than the MXT. With the MXT Pro, you use the tone ID to get into alternate relic mode, rather than trigger forward like the MXT. Tone #2 tone is primary search mode, #1 is same as MXT's alternate search mode, and Iron ID is the same as MXT's alternate search with discrimination at it's lowest setting. Putting the trigger forwad with the MXT Pro locks the pinpoint.

i have been using relic with trigger forward for about 2 months now and seem to be finding a larger variety of targets. i was a coin and jewelry mode guy but now my mxt stays in relic. thats the great thing about the mxt . you got three modes to choose from . thanks for all the info you guys share .
