Hunt was cancelled!
Permission was not granted by the property owner! A former caretaker gave permission!
No arrests
Hunt was then moved to Waugh Point site of earlier hunts.

Them protesters and all, well, drive up to the town of Winamac , Indiana, and they'll even arrest you for having a detector in your car in the city park, leastwise they got signs to that effect, i never took a chance, didn' wanna lose m detectors, seems as how somebody buggered the park whilst detectin, and somebody on the parkboard didn' like it, sooooo, sometimes them protesters got power and reasons, sure made me think twice

I certainly would like to keep everyone informed and seek everyones thoughts on this subject but I will honor the wishes of this boards administrator. Below is the PM that he sent me. Sure would have like to keep a open dialog on this. Burying our heads in the proverbial sand and pretending that it didn't effect our hobby/sport in a very negative way is not productive in my opinion.

I removed all the post you made about the Save: Depot hunt in VA. There is a place for this, and it has to be put there. I am not going to allow it to be turn into a "us against them" (Finds against The Depot) contest.
