Wow I didnt relaize that pennies were worth more than a pennie.....every pennie I find that isnt a wheat pennie I just throw in my pennie jar.
Are there certain pennies I should be looking for that are valuable ? Can someone tell me what year pennies etc are the ones I need to keep my eye on ?
Thanks

use that or the red book for coins herd was good book from coin collecting freind.

In 1982 they switched to zinc. Anything before that has about 2 cents worth of copper. But it's againest the law to melt down a penny so whatever you are thinking about, don't talk about it.

LOL Yeah, of course don't melt 'em down for the copper, but I think pretty much everybody hoards there old copper pennies.:wiggle:
They'll be just as collectable some day as some of the older coins are now.
