About keeping the threshold and avoid nulling by keeping Fe coins accepted.
I have ExII just for 6 months and keep in mind that my English in not so good.
Yesterday after hunting in field I made the air test at home with old Rome copper coin and piece of iron. 2 gr small copper and 25 gr. rusted iron ( quite big abt 1x0,5in ) Well known to everybody that there are 32 metal tones ( left to right ) :16 for iron and 16 for non-iron. Starting to count all of them from 32 ( pure iron ), 31, 30,

I understand and agree with what you are saying. If we hear all iron it can be tough. In very heavy iron is is about more than one can stand. Hearing the differences using FE coins open also is in conjunction with the audio settings. I played around to find the setting that tell me one from the others and am working with that for now. It takes a while to see what a setting and program is going to do as you know. My son and I are finding to many coins and other goodies in heary iron that we walked over using the other settings to change for now. I often try something a little different to see if I can improve the pattern and how to use it to make if more usable. I have about 6 that I am playing around with to see what the difference ones will do and a few in the EX2 that my son uses.

What are the laws concerning detecting in Greece? As a person detecting in the United States Midwest settled in the mid 1800 sure seems it would be fun to have a couple of thousand of years of history to dig. Is it permissible for tourist to bring their detectors. I was over there 15 years ago and traveled to several islands. Had a wonderful time but was more interested in all the beautiful women than digging in the ground.

That's right. I think that for the beginning may be better to use opened All Metal screen and dig this jumping crosshair from 31 to 28-29 or when it sticks with 28 ( co-located? ). This is the point where full IM-14 would be ending if set and as it has been said here many times, that the finds starting after IM-14. Let
