I Found a place on the Internet with an Ace 250 for $249.99 with free shipping and 5 free gifts ie.... padded headphones, nicad batts and recharger, carrying case, and so on. Sounds really good so naturally I am suspicious. Has anyone had any experience with

I had a friend who used to deal with them. He never said anything bad about them and he had a wall of metal detectors that he had from them .

I have personally dealt with Sean at A S Co. and he is A#1!! I bought a Garrett GTI 2500 at a real good price and got freebies to boot. By the way, I checked him out with the So. California BBB and in 15 years of business, he has 0 complaints against him. Now I call that a great record. He has a partner but Sean pretty much runs the show.

I just ordered my Ace 250 from A&S (before the price increase). I asked for different "gifts" and Sean was very cooperative in doing that. I asked for the better volume control headphone set and the tote bag. He also included the digging spade, the apron , and an extra head mount bolt. When considering that shipping was included for the $199 (I live in Michigan) I couldn't have bought a used unit on eBay for less. The unit was shipped that afternoon. They accepted PayPal for the payment, Today the Big Brown Truck just delivered the 4.5" snipper coil that I also order from them. Again the purchase couldn't have been easier.
