Abandoned Texas farm house............

Kelley (Texas)

New member
Fascinating abandoned old South Texas type farm house in Bracken, Texas. Look at the cedar shingles on the gable end of this house, you don't see things like this anymore. As I took this picture, my thoughts were about the family that once lived in this house...do any of them still live in the area, did they fish in the creek down the road, did any of them go on and become famous? If only these old houses could talk. Kelley (Texas) :)

You know,, I bet there were some happy times spent in that house,,,those were the good ol days....
I see a screened porch on the other side...We had a screened in porch when I was a kid...
I wonder if there any snakes around there ???

We grew up in the best of times and enjoyed life and each other. There are lots of happy memories associated with these old houses. Kelley (Texas) :)
