finaly got spare pack dropped in baterys & exp. didn't come on , put in ni. bat, exp.came on . but I picked up spare pack & it was HOT.I took out baterys .Then checked continuity on post .Didn't get any. but when i dropped in 3 in each slot And held the down by side of battery ( not jumpping tops ) I got continuity .
After checking inside with flashlight I saw + post spring is not centerd and no plastic devider to keep the 2 compresed springs apart When loaded with baterys. So iff baterys on spare get hot after 2 min check it out Or less than 8 hrs with headphone use.HH J
