sure fire cure for cabin fever get that CTX out at an old site: 40's lipstick, SS ring, lead toys, nickels (Jays Gold Prog!), also, the site in it's heyday...

You’re an ANIMAL Clive! Where there’s a will,there’s detecting to do....that historic photo is what I look for,SOLID PROOF things were going on at a site. Sooner or later you will find what was “going on”....or falling off!

That's true IDX. There's a ton of information you can learn from one decent photo. Where you have concrete structures at the edge--the grade and strata changes can be determined--even over decades.
