Several years back there was a Technetics Road Runner which had the basic circuitry of the Tracker on a circuit board 1/4 the size of the Tracker circuit board-only it was preset to split the tones at zinc penny. Why can't they put out a Fastracker using this board and do away with all the wasted space and plastic and make the detector look more like a walking cane than a lunchbox?
