It was a stunningly beautiful morning as I resumed my search on the bluffs and hills over looking the Mississippi. With Vaquero in hand I stuck to the edge of the bluffs and drop offs . I crawled down one rocky spot and discovered a geocache.
I signed my name and left a bullet.
Directly above that spot I found a 1957 Rosie and a 1930 D Wheat penny. The Vaquero had the stock coil , ground balanced neutral, sens 10 , threshold 1 oclock, and disc just a little above iron. The penny was about six inches deep. The machine meowed in both disc and all metal and the signal was still strong at maximum disc.
The dime was shallow and barking. It was maybe an inch deep.
