A week at the beach, only one gold.

Just spent a week with my Kids and Grand kids at the beach. Spent most of my time with the Family, got out a few times, found plenty of coins just short of $10.00 in clad. Managed to get one 10K ring with some stones, with diamond chips, very small chips, some prescription glasses for a child, and a couple junk earrings. I met a couple local guys that hunt this area of the beach allot. There luck was like mine, not much Gold. Still a nice time. Got to see my 4 year old grandson learn to surf, plus the 3 Girls gave it a try. HH

nice finds papa. looks prety simular to my weeks worth of finds from my beach vacation . .my inventory was 30.00 in clad . 1 silver ring.2 junk ear rings.1 18k gold filled ring.2 pocket knives and beautiful gold colored chain 24in long which as it turns out is not gold. what a disappointment but thats the way it goes as i am kinda new to beach hunting. i enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning while doing my favorite hobby / habit and it dont got much better than that . like gentleman in above post said spending quality with time family and friends in beautiful surroundings is the real treasure.
