A warning about e-bay....

My wife's co-worker bid on a motorcycle on E-bay;some cretin was posting it fraudently and this man was cheated out of more than $8,000.00-words to the wise:when you bid on E-bay,make sure to check your sources where whatever you are bidding on is legitimate....

I had to get PayPal involved to get my money back. I'm shamrock4sure on ebay and my feedback is 100%. I'll work with someone if there's a problem. On a large purchase like that I would think that the individual would pay upon receipt. The seller would have to have a huge amount sales and good feedback before I would shell out that kind of money. By the way was this seller located in So. Carolina? The UPS man at work was scammed on earnest money by someone there.
The sale you're talking about would be a federal offense as across state lines.

check their feedback, the location, and the shipping! :)

took over a month but I finally got it.
When I bought the motorcycle from a guy in Indiana I saw the bike and the person face to face before any money changed hands.
Even if it would have been a bad deal at least we would have had a great trip there and back. Glad this deal turned out as well as it did.

My seller name is mxtpro. I really research the sellers feedback. Look close at the positive feedback, it may have slight hints of negativity. neutral feedback is or can be as bad as negative feedback. Even look at what the seller has bought in the past to see if they resell it. You almost need to take a safety course on ebay. I enjoy buying and selling, but look out, some people are out to rip you off. I rarely buy expensive items. The only costly thing I bought on ebay was my mxt for 500 dollars new. I sold a few of my roman coins on ebay to purchase the detector.
